:-/Because I am a newbie with Rosellas and have been attempting to be creative enough to build them a decent sized indoor aviary space....and have found that I'm not creative at building anything....I need to know the largest size spacing between cage bars. I have (on order) a double macaw cage that is 80 x 40 but the bars are spaced at 1". I'm so hoping I can use it as is but think I may have to attach some type of wire to lessen the spacing. Any help would be sincerely appreciated! I have two male opaline rosellas and two female rubinos. I have them all together as they are young and I wanted to let them choose their own mate....however, one of the males is very alpha! So in the end I may have to choose for them.

Avairy wire attached with small cable ties i would have thought might solve the space bar problem. i made the mistake of making a travel cage with 1 inch squares for my conure, so i had to make another

I'm presuming you have Eastern Rosella's going by their mutation? I seriously would not house 4 Rosella's together in a space less than 3 metre's by 1.5 metre's and never during breeding season as they will kill each other. I'm also hoping that they aren't siblings? oh, and the wire space is perfectly fine.
