i found my female rosa bourke dead this morning she wasnt sick that i notice do you think the male will died without her?

Hi Shell, sorry about your Rosa Hen.
The male will be fine without her. The heat lately has been a problem for Bourke's especially the hens - they fare less well than the males. Bourke's are quite adept at hiding their illness as they are usually only active at dawn & dusk & look lazy most other times. My Rosa Hen died a few months ago & the cock is a happy bird. I have lost about half of my Bourke Hens overall & the males are all fine.

karen we have had a couple of warm days i wouldnt say it was hot so my male will be fine thats good i dont want to lose him too
