At last with my new scanner i can share some old pics I cannot find many at the moment, but i found these This is Koi, hes in his kennel, Koi was my first dog and my first experience working with collies, and i made a few mistakes along the way too. He was a wonderful boy, but always getting into trouble in one way or another. This is summertime, and as normal hes kicked his bed out. Our collies had sawdust, then straw, then a blanket. He never did learn to keep it in. Koi was huge, born a single pup. Ill post more pics of him when i find them , he looked like a huge mole when he was born. My first glimpse of Koi, was when i was sick in hospital , and he was smuggled in under a jacket. He was one dog that always made me feel safe, he always had his eye on me, whatever he was doing. and this is Tess. I almost cry just thinking of her, she was everything. This is the one i told you, that caused chaos at the trial field, with her first sheep dog trial. and this is Sampson..my calf. My first experience at learning to look after a large animal. As you can see some of our sheep in the background, Samson thought he was one.

I did do once Jules , but that was another life. Samson came home in a sack, he was a bull calf born in a dairy, so he was not wanted. He was a runt too, so my ex bought him home for me.
He was not strong at first, he was bottle fed then ihad to teach him how to suck milk from a bucket. It was touch and go with him too , and he even had a couple of visits at the vets.

LOL I remember the sheep dog trial! I was just telling mum about & she was laughing.
You should repost that story here Donna for those who haven't read & enjoyed it.
