The female in the foreground, have a look at her behaviour with the new nesting boxes. I hadn't witnessed it before in Elegants but have seen it in Rosella's & Red Rumps. They put their foreheads to the box, it seems to me as though it's her "acceptance" of the box. I witnessed one of the males doing it too.
I don't know if it's correct but it's my theory,
