well i was just about to give you the good news about the toe. Yesterday it had gone from being black to pink. This morning i found Lennie had been chewing it, and its a bit bloody. Hes even got blood on his beak. 8-)Just as i thought we were winning!!! Glad hes still on the antibiotics.

Lennie is as perky as can be, and his toe looks a little better at the mo. If he keeps pecking it i may try and put something on to stop him.
Dawnie has been out alot today, and even had a nibble at some mealy worms. She had her first flutter too, from Mr Scullys shoulders.

she is definately a she scully, if you look at the pic of "theres my daddy!" you can see the shape of the head with its perfect flat bit on the top, a boy's would be very rounded at that angle.

Baby 2 fledged yesterday and its funny how they have to get used to perching. Bit of a balancing act to start with, and dont quite know what to do. Dawnie spent the first night out the nest, i dont think we will see her go back in much now.Shes been eating egg food, and a little seed. Yesterday, while mum and dad were having a bath, she was on the floor with them. Dad kept chasing her back under the clothes dryer. Im sure it was to protect her, perhaps from my dog. The birds dont fear my dogs normally. they are very cuddly at this stage
