Parrotlets are adorable ;D they are so cute! but yes they are chewy lol. maybe you could try distracting the urge to chew your fingers by holding something he is allowed to chew instead? My budgie is a young lad that is pretty chew happy at the moment and we've worked out that he loves the plastic tips on shoelaces so i went out and bought a pair of shoelaces expecially for him and i wrap it round my hand and arm when he is out. he comes and sits on me and plays/chews with the shoelace for AGES! and all that time i dont get bitten once ;D
Parrotlets are such pretty colours, what colour is your one? ;D

thank you for the compliments, we think he's gorgeous too but then we're a little biased lol.
his first perch Billie was the flat screen TV that we have hung on our lounge wall - DH was not impressed one little bit and clapped his hands in the hope that it would make him jump and stay away from it lol. He's a big softy for anything with feathers as you know, but even they arent allowed near his TV lol

LOL Harry is a piece of work isnt he! I wonder if he's worked out that he can get twice the attention if he's nice to both of them? hehe.
It may be an "uneasy" peace in the cage but id make the most of it while its there ;D

boy will be boys, so maybe you just hit the nail on the head? Ive had "3" birds in a cage before and they got along fine. There was the odd scrap when the weather was hot or when one of them decided they needed to come out for a fly and would take frustrations out on another. But ive found that with keeping multiple birds in general, not necessarily odd numbered ones ;D

Hi Billie, my sherbert used to have a rats wheel in an attempt to try and keep his weight down seeing as he didnt fly. He actually enjoyed it after the initial avoiding when it first went in his cage lol.
