Alot of people reckon that only the male's will talk. I have never met a female that talk's.. Plenty of male's, buyt not female's..

At 11weeks it is still too young to tell, are you possible to take pic's? With the normal grey you will be able to tell when he/she has there first moult, you will notice more yellow feather's coming in around the face area compared to when a female the face wil remain grey. With the lutino if you shine a torch to the tail you should see some line's/bar's if the bar's are pointing down you have a male, if across a female. Although with the lutino's this isn't 100% accurate as they are very hard to see. Best of luck.

She may also just be copying the male's and the only real way to tell is wait until she moult's.

I'm really not sure if there is anything you can do. This is a natural behaviour and i don't know if or how it could be stopped. Sorry i wasn't much help.

He may just not like Cucmber, no point forcing it on him if he don't like it.
Good work on the step up.

Hi there, and welcome to BC
Even though budgies are easy to tame I think for your first bird your better off finding a breeder who hand tames or hand feed's there babies so the baby is tame once it arrives at your house. There may be a breeder on this site who is near you.l
