That's a great idea. Chicken can be a little sticky beak and see everything that happens.

Very true Batty, I have not ever known a bird that won't touch nice green grass. Sometimes Juli you may need to resort to adding vitamins to their water and ensure they get at least 15 minutes of direct sunshine daily.

It's great though that you've got the kitten at a young age, he'll grow up knowing that Chicken is boss. At least as it is the cat can play and not hurt him.

These ones don't have names Billie. Most of my budgies get called Pretty Boy, Pretty Girl, Little Sh*t. LOL @ Tiny!

oh he's gorgeous! I can certainly see where his personality shines through. I just love the bat trick they do. Boris is particularly adept at it LOL. Only names I can think of at quarter to 1 in the morning is Jack (same number of letters as July - month you bought him in) or Batman. LOL brain fuzzy . . . can't think . . .

He is one beautiful kitten! I had a brilliant hunter cat once, when I'd get a new bird I'd let the bird bite her on the nose when she got curious. The cat never bothered the birds after being bitten on the nose.

Here is my handsome boy Prince: Here is Nellie (left) and Matilda (right): Monty on the feed bowl: I am hoping that Prince and Matilda might breed this year. I am going to move the other birds out and give them a nest box this coming weekend.
