Glad you guys enjoyed these pics! Once in awhile he'll get so tired like that, and it's funny to watch. He probably loves being in my hand where its nice and warm too. I was glad I had my cellphone with me to take some photos! I just noticed that the last photo somehow got flipped (mirror image) as everything is reversed. Oh well...no matter hehe.

Chicken is very relaxed, chilling out as I surf the net: Here's starting to fade... And he's out!

And I thought my green-cheek was spoiled hehe. That's quite a mix you made for him there, Scully!

Oh yes, he's definitely enthusiastic about it hehe. Sometimes he reminds me of a dog in the way that he begs for a nibble of something I might be eating. He stretches forward as far as he can, his wings start twitching, and his little eyes are filled with eagerness. Sometimes I just can't resist.

Hehe that's funny that you mention potato chips. I was eating some last night, and Chicken was begging like a dog in order to get one. As it was really close to his bedtime, I refrained from giving him one (since he refuses to eliminate in his sleeping cage and instead holds it in until I bring him out the next morning), but usually I'll give him a tiny corner of one for a treat. And yes, it *is* fun to watch them eat their fav foods!

I took these pictures of Chicken with my cellphone, so excuse the subpar quality. In this first photo he's eating half a salted peanut, one of his favorite treats (if you look closely, you can see it all over his beak): Every morning, Chicken gets a fresh grape for breakfast. However, instead of eating the fresh one I gave him, he went straight for the half-eaten, raisin-like one from the previous day. Here he is with his beakful of shrivled goodness:

Cute photo! Reminds me of a pic I just took the other day of my green cheek eating a peanut.

That's really cute! How did you teach Sunny to wave? I used sunflower seeds as an incentive. First I put my finger near him as if he was to "step up". When he stretched his foot out to step up, I said "wave", moving my other hand like when you wave to someone, and moved my finger away so he didn't actually touch or step up onto my finger and gave him the sunflower seed. I done this about 10 times then tried it without the finger being there. When he lifted his foot without my finger being there, he got his seed. After him doing that, I got him to open and close his foot while holding it in the air then gave him his seed. lol It only took about 2 or 3 days with about 20 times a day. He is a quick learner. He now knows that when I take the camera in his cage, I get him to wave and he gets his sunflower treat, so now he does it automatically without the command when he sees the camera , but he only gets the treat when I ask him to wave Smart little guy! I think if I tried that with my ornery little cinnamon green-cheek, he's get irritated with me hehe. Might be worth a shot, though. Thanks for sharing that.
